Neil McIlhargey has been recruited as a recruitment analyst by Manchester United.
McIlhargey previously held positions in with roles at both Watford and Brentford before he started his work with Manchester United.
Neil rose up to the position of the head of the analysis at the Scottish club Rangers after he was brought to the club under the reign of former manager Mark Warburton. At Rangers, he helped with the recruitment of transfer targets as well.
After he left Rangers, McIlhargey worked as a consultant analyst with the Scottish FA, in particular, with their youth sides.
The analyst is the second important addition to the Man United set-up since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has taken over as the permanent manager of the club after Andrew Meredith also joined the club as an analysis operations manager early this season.
