Neil Mellor has disclosed that Rhian Brewster is an emerging talented star at Liverpool that he is most excited about.
The 19-year-old striker could get a chance to play in starting lineup, after being sidelined for the entire season suffering from an injury.
According to Liverpool Echo, the Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp would put his faith in Brewster in the next season instead of signing a striker to replace Daniel Sturridge next season.
The teenager is yet to make his debut for the Reds, but the former English striker Neil Mellor is very much excited about him.
Mellor told American Gambler: “Brewster has a big future if he can listen to Jurgen and the coaches at Liverpool, and the senior players there.
“Brewster is the one who really excites me because he can score goals, has the right attitude and listens to the coaching staff and Jurgen.”
It is most likely that Jurgen Klopp will promote Brewster in the senior squad as he has praised his abilities on many occasions.
Brewster was a part of the U-23 team in the Premier League second division game against Leicester where he scored a goal in the month of April this year.
