The last night saw the two Manchester clubs play out their derby. In circumstances that are going to decide the Premier League trophy, it is not right to expect help from Manchester United.
However, expect we did and United fell flat on all the expectations. Manchester City ran out 2-0 winners at Old Trafford and effectively ended the title race.
Jamie Carragher was on duty as a pundit alongside Gary Neville and Roy Keane. The Reds legend had to defend Gary Neville after he expressed pity on United’s inability to give a fight to Pep Guardiola’s men.
"The City players couldn't believe how easy it was tonight."
Roy Keane and @GNev2 look at the "gulf in class" between the two Manchester clubs…🔴🔵

The conversation between Neville and Keane went on like this:
Neville: “I think that is as good as United have got.”
Keane: “They’ve had one shot on target Gary! One shot on target at home.”
Neville: “What we saw there tonight between Manchester United and Manchester City is the gulf in class between the two teams.”
“I don’t think I looked at any player on that pitch and thought that they could have given more, that is what they are.”
Keane: “You need to see Fred for the second goal if you are on about players giving it all.
“That is not giving his all, that is cheating. Just cheating letting the guy run off him.”
Jamie who took to twitter to comment on the whole debate said this:
“Leave my Gary Neville alone”.
