Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku has agreed on personal terms with Inter Milan according to the reliable Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.
The Belgian had an up and down last season at the Old Trafford where he scored goals in bunches but also suffered long dry spells in front of the goal.
While first choice under Jose Mourinho, the 25-year-old was dropped to the bench under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Marcus Rashford took his place in front of the goal.
Clearly unhappy with his time here at United, Lukaku and his agent Federico Pastorello has been pushing for a move away since the end of the campaign with Serie A his most possible destination.
Now, with Antonio Conte at the helms, Inter Milan have been eyeing a transfer for the Belgian No. 9 and according to Nicolo Schira, the personal terms have already been agreed:
Romelu #Lukaku is the Antonio #Conte’s absolute first choice like a striker. #Inter have an agreement with him for a contract until 2024 (€7,5M more bonuses at year). Contacts ongoing with #ManchesterUnited, that want €70M at least to sell Lukaku. #transfers #MUFC #mutd

Manchester United are holding on for €70m (£62m) while Inter are trying to drive the price down. We have already covered about this piece where Inter Milan tried to offer us Ivan Perisic to bring down the Lukaku price but that request was subsequently rejected by the Man United board as it came a year too late.
Still, losing money on a striker who is approaching his peak years and has scored 42 goals in his last couple of seasons is what we have come to expect from Ed Woodward and co.
