Man United fans have taken to Twitter to rubbish the rumours suggesting Fred’s exit from Manchester only after a season at Old Trafford.

Big things were expected from the Brazilian after he snubbed Pep Guardiola and Manchester City to join United last summer for a reported fee of £52m.

Things haven’t gone according to plan for the 26-year-old since as he was not able to make any substantial impact in his first season at the club, barely featuring under current manager Ole Gunnar Solsksjaer.

The Norwegian’s little to no use of Fred have fueled suggestions that he could be shown the exit door in the ongoing summer window.

Now, Italian publication Il Romanista, Italian giants AS Roma are interested in reuniting him with his former Shakhtar Boss Paulo Fonseca who hoping to sign him on a loan.

Despite an underwhelming first campaign at the club, The Red Devils supporters have urged the club to keep hold of him.

The United faithful insist that Fred’s best years are yet to come and he should be given a second chance to revive a second chance.
