Chelsea along with their official kit sponsor Nike have a paid homage to the Club’s home Stamford Bridge in their new kits for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
The kit is blue (What A Surprise!) and according to the official blurb, the abstract pattern is actually made up of various photos of the Stamford Bridge’s architecture, which have all been intricately mashed up and imprinted together.
It also features a V-neck along with a red and white CFC monogram imprint at the back of the collar.
Inside the shirt, a lion borrowed from the club crest ‘The Stamford Lion’ is featured with the ‘PRIDE OF LONDON’ embossed around it.
Eden Hazard, who is seen modelling the kit, revealed his excitement saying :
‘It’s our home. Every time we step out to play in front of our fans, it just feels right.
‘We’ve created so many memories at the Bridge over the years so it’s only fitting that we pay tribute to such an iconic stadium through the jersey.’
The Blues will don their new strip for the first time against Watford on may the 5th which also happens to be the club’s last league home of game of the season.
