Romelu Lukaku has officially completed his transfer from Manchester United to Inter Milan as the Serie A club confirmed the news on Twitter.
The 26-year-old had been a long term target for the Nerazzurri since the start of the summer transfer window 2019.
However, failure to agree on a deal with Manchester United meant that this transfer had to be dragged on until the last day of the window.
Here is the official tweet from Inter Milan unveiling their brand new signing:

The former Manchester United striker is reported to have agreed on massive wages of £300,000 per week in a deal worth £74m.
Here’s what Romelu Lukaku told the Inter Milan website after the signing:
“Inter were the only club I wanted, because Inter is Not For Everyone.
“I’m here to bring the Nerazzurri back to the top.”

Meanwhile, Club legend Gary Neville, in a tweet aimed at Lukaku, criticized the footballer for his (lack of) professionalism and fitness issues:
“He (Lukaku) admitted he was overweight! He is over 100kg! He’s a Manchester United player!”
“He will score goals and do well at Inter Milan but unprofessionalism is contagious.”
Here’s what Manchester United’s official website posted about Lukaku’s departure to Inter Milan:
Manchester United can confirm Romelu Lukaku has completed a move to Inter Milan.
The Belgium international striker joined the Reds in the summer of 2017 from Premier League club Everton.
Overall, he netted 42 goals from 96 games, and 77 of those came as a starter.
Everybody would like to thank Romelu for his efforts at the club and pass on our best wishes for the future.
Do you think it was a wise decision to let go of the Belgian?
And should we sign a replacement for the Belgian with Marcus Rashford as the only recognized senior Striker in the squad? (Not counting Martial and Sanchez of course who should start on the wings)
