Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has informed Scott McTominay that he won’t be leaving Manchester United in the coming transfer window.

The 22-year-old had a good time under Jose Mourinho but the Scotsman has touched new levels and has been a revelation since the arrival of the Norwegian manager.

The Scot has been one of the best players in the United Midfield with his performances against Barcelona earning him special praise from pundits, fans and managers alike.

With Ander Herrera almost guaranteed to leave on a free transfer and Nemanja Matic just not good enough to start every week, McTominay alongside Fred and Pogba are the future at the Old Trafford and Ole recognizes that.

The 22-year-old has been one of the first names on the team sheets and with Ole confirming his stay, we can expect big things from Scott in the coming season.

Do you think McTominay is good enough to start every game for Man United or would you sign another world-class midfielder?
