Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows he will be fired if his Manchester United side lose their next game against Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Sun.

The report references a quote from a source claiming the boss held talks with his squad after Sunday’s draw with Villa in which he admitted he fears for his future.

The source claimed:

Ole was a little bit emotional and told them that if they don’t get two results this week, he could be gone.

It is the worst time to be facing Spurs with Jose coming back.

Ole told the players all his and their focus now has to go straight to the Spurs game.

He was not being critical of Jose in any way but made it clear to the players just how much their old boss will want to win.

United have a difficult week coming up with games against Spurs and City, and they could find themselves lingering in the middle of the bottom half of the table if things go poorly.

I’m sorry but sentiment does not come into it
We all called for Moyes Van Gaul and Mourinhos heads but they won more points at this stage of the season than Solskjaer. We all know this is the worst start to a season for 30+ years. I think this job is too big for Solskjaer. He is making bad mistakes which is harming our chances. His tactics are wrong or he is devoid of tactics to install in the players.
I think it is time to go.
