If Manchester United can find a proper replacement for the midfielder, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to let go of Nemanja Matic in January according to the Telegraph.
Former Chelsea player, who was brought at the Old Trafford in 2017 by the then manager Jose Mourinho for £35million, has been frozen out by the Norwegian manager since the inception of his tenure at Man Utd.
During his reign as manager, Solskjaer has allowed the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Chris Smalling to leave the club and if the reports are to be believed, he no longer sees a future for Matic at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer had reportedly blocked Matic’s departure last summer as he wanted to retain some experience in the squad.
Both AC Milan and Inter Milan are reported to have interest in Serbia international, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Matic hasn’t featured for the club since October 3rd in a 0-0 draw against AZ Alkmaar.
