Former Manchester United striker Alan Brazil if of the opinion that it’s going to be the last season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Manchester United manager.
Red Devils currently sit ninth in the Premier League table after a humiliating 3-3 draw against Sheffield United, nine points behind the top four.
Brazil reckons former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino would be the right candidate for the role as he thinks Manchester United players expect to be led by someone better.
I’d love, for what [Solskjaer’s] done for the club, I’d love him to be a hero and take them on to great things – I don’t see it”, Brazil said on talkSPORT.
No I don’t, I don’t think he will be there at the end of the season.
I think Poch, if he’s not too tired and needs a holiday. I think he’d just get more out of them.
They were shocking first half [against Sheffield United], shocking.
It’s horrible to say because he’s been great for the club and he’s a lovely guy by all accounts, and I want him to do well, but I just think they need a big name that the players will sit up let them play.
Manchester United came back from two goals down to lead 3-2 at Bramall Lane but conceded a late equaliser to draw 3-3.
