Paul Pogba has claimed that one should follow the footsteps of Juan Mata if they want to become a ‘top player’ in professional sports.
Manchester United just completed a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup and are set to play Tottenham Hotspurs on the 25th of July in our 4th game of the pre-season.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba had been attending an Adidas fan event at the Marina Bay during the Singapore tour alongside Juan Mata and Aaron Wan-Bissaka when he was inquired about what it takes to become a ‘top player’ in the Premier League.
As per Paul Pogba, you should just follow Juan Mata if you want to become a top man in the sports:
“If you want to be a top football player, just follow Juan Mata! Just keep following your dream, and go for it.”
The Spaniard is one of the most beloved player in the Manchester United squad and a true gentleman in all aspects of life.
The 31-year-old recently signed a contract extension at the Old Trafford and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer couldn’t be more happy with the news:
“Juan is the ultimate professional and one of the most intelligent players I have worked with,” Solskjaer said.
“He is a great example to our younger players in his approach. He understands what it means to be a Manchester United player and has embraced everything about this great club.
“As well as everything he brings on the pitch, we have some fantastic young players here and I know that Juan’s vast experience will help them to reach their potential over the coming seasons.
“I am delighted that he has signed a new contract, as I know that his talent and mentality will be invaluable to the squad.”

There aren’t too many top professionals in this day and age who resonate all the values and ethics of the club, but Juan Mata is one of the rare few.
Hopefully, the attacking midfielder hits the ground running next month!
