Paul Pogba seems to be recovering from injury well. Manchester United midfielder has posted a video on his Instagram account showing his cast removed following surgery on his ankle.
After staying out for most of the season due to injuries, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would desperately want him back in the squad. The world cup winner underwent an operation on his right ankle earlier this month.
With back to back injuries keeping him out, the French international has made just eight appearances in all competitions during the current campaign for Manchester United.
The 26-year-old returned from his previous injury in the defeat against Watford just before Christmas and played the second half of the Boxing Day win against Newcastle just to be sidelined again as he was going for surgery.
Pogba has been in the centre of some minor controversies lately with both Solskjaer and the fans accusing him foe showing lack of seriousness while recuperating from the injury. Many media houses have linked him away from Manchester United as well.
Pogba has been keeping fans up to date with his progress on his Instagram page and on Monday afternoon, ahead of United’s League Cup semi-final second leg clash against Manchester City on Wednesday, he posted a picture with his cast off with the caption ‘patience’ along with a key emoji.
Solskjaer said at the start of the month that he expected Pogba to only be sidelined for three to four weeks and with his cast coming off there’s the possibility he could return after the winter break.
