Juventus have held talks with Manchester United over the signing of Paul Pogba after Juve director Fabio Paratici traveled to London this week.
Paul Pogba transfer news and stories have been doing the rounds all over the media for the last couple of months with Real Madrid and Juventus showing concrete interest in the Frenchman.
Zinedine Zidane and Madrid were said to have shown serious interest in the services of the 26-year-old, but thanks to Man United’s £130m evaluation of the player, the Spanish club refused to sanction a move.
Now, Juventus have also shown interest in taking back the midfielder to Turin. Of course, they are unwilling to pay £130m that Manchester United demand for the midfielder.
However, in the dire need of a fullback, Ed Woodward has asked for £44m rated Joao Cancelo in the deal, if Metro are to be believed.
Clearly, Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola are looking for another big payday, and if that means a transfer away from the Old Trafford, then so be it.
Joao Cancelo, meanwhile, is a brilliant player capable of playing as a fullback on either wings, though his preferable position is on the right.
If this deal does go through, it could be a win-win situation for both the clubs.
Of course, we would have to buy at least 2 world-class midfielders to replace Herrera and now Pogba.
