Juventus is still interested in bringing midfielder Paul Pogba to Turin after making contacts with his agent Mino Raiola, according to the ever reliable Sky Sports.
Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United has been in massive doubt for the past few months as the Frenchman has been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid amongst other clubs.
However, Sky Sports have got a latest twist in the tale by bringing Paul Pogba’s former club Juventus into the mix. As per Sky Sports:
“Juventus are interested in signing Paul Pogba back from Manchester United, according to Sky in Italy.
“The Italian champions have made contact with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola over a potential summer move for the France international.”
The Frenchman has previously flirted with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and the feelings have been mutual.
The 26-year-old’s super agent Mino Raiola has already been in contact with Madrid chief Florentino Perez about the possibility of the transfer in this summer transfer window.
However, Real Madrid are unwilling to fork out 150 Million Pounds (and Raiola’s hefty bonus on top of that) for the services of Pogba and would only consider a transfer if the Red Devils agree to drop the price for the Midfielder.
Now, the arrival of Juve only complicates the matter further. The World cup winner Joined the Turin based club on a free transfer in 2012 after failing to break into the first team at the Old Trafford.
Needless to say, Paul Pogba enjoyed massive success at Juventus!
Pogba’s time at Manchester United, meanwhile, has been marred with controversies and criticism, thanks to his eccentric lifestyle and the feud with Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United have been informed about Juventus’ interest. Ed Woodward isn’t looking to sell Paul, but would consider a transfer if someone meets Manchester United’s valuation of 150 Million Pounds.
