Peter Schmeichel has asked Manchester United to consider a move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min.
Even though Son couldn’t make much of an impact against Manchester United last night as Aaron Wan-Bissaka marshalled the South Korea captain well, however with 9 goals and 8 assists Son for his club, he has been excellent this season.
Despite having a quiet night, Manchester United legend Schmeichel believes the attacker would be an excellent signing for United and wants Solskjaer to go after Son – who is approaching five years following his £18million move in 2015 (Guardian).
I would love to see him [at Old Trafford].
Yeah, I know [there’re quite a few players I would have from Spurs]. He is an incredible player. It really is difficult to understand how good he is.
A lot of young players are coming through. The likes of Daniel James, Tahith Chong and plenty more are still coming through and having a player like Son in their side would give those youngsters someone to learn from.
