Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has hinted on a return to Liverpool in this summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old has scored 11 goals in 21 starts in the last season for Barcelona.
The Catalan Club has reportedly seemed to have accepted an £88m offer made by Liverpool for the Brazilian Jurgen Klopp wants to bring Coutinho back to the Anfield since the signing of Naby Keita and Shaqiri haven’t exactly worked out.
The Brazilian international has failed to create an impact at Barcelona, following his high profile £149m move to the Camp Nou in January last year.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp feels that Coutinho can make a huge impact with his return to the Anfield.
Recently, Coutinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian told that Coutinho wants to make a return to Liverpool rather than playing for any other club.
Joorabchian said: “I think Liverpool lies very, very deeply in his heart, he was a big fan of them throughout the campaign, last season.
“He was wishing for them to win the title and he has a very strong affinity there, so I think it will be very difficult for him to go to a direct competitor of Liverpool from a personal standpoint.”
Coutinho’s return to the Anfield depends on the fact that if Klopp is willing to give him a second chance in the first team at Liverpool.
Coutinho was also a part of the Brazilian squad that won the Copa America defeating Peru by 3-1 on 8th July this month.
