After displaying his sheer performance at the North East, Josh Maja swapped League One for the French’s domestic League-1.
With an abundance of talent, Maja is a bright prospect and has attracted significant interest after Sunderland’s relegation to the third tier last season.
The 20-year-old forward at the French club Bordeaux is looking for a potential return to England, and playing for Arsenal seen as a dream scenario for him.
“I support Barcelona and Arsenal because they’re my local team,” Maja told France Football.
“Of course, I’d really like to play in the team with which I grew up.
“It would be great.
“It’s clear the Premier League is one of the best in the world, with the best teams.
“I hope to play there one day, but for now I’m with Bordeaux, I want to succeed here, and we’ll see about the rest later.”
