Mathias Pogba, the brother of Paul Pogba, has provided the latest update on the future of Manchester United midfielder, amidst Real Madrid links.
Paul Pogba has already let his intentions known of exiting Manchester United for a new challenge elsewhere.
The Frenchman’s agent Mino Raiola has also given an update on his future with the following controversial quotes:
“Nothing is certain yet. Pogba staying in Manchester? I live my life day by day and we’ll see what happens.
“The end of this story isn’t written yet, we’re here now but tomorrow you never know,” said Raiola.
And now, according to Paul’s brother Mathias, the 26-year-old could still sign for Real Madrid if that is what he believes is the best step for his future:
“I always want what is best for him. If he feels Real Madrid is the best club for him, then he’ll come,” Pogba told AS.
“I didn’t see the game (against Atletico Madrid) but am aware of the outcome. I feel my brother could assist with any team, if he comes to Madrid, then it will be to help the team.”
Manchester United fans have probably accepted the fact that Paul Pogba to Real Madrid stories are just not going to vanish in thin air anytime soon.
It’s either a ploy by agent Raiola and Mathias Pogba to squeeze as much money as they can from the Manchester United board as Paul Pogba does a transfer u-turn and signs a new contract extension in the upcoming days (worth crazy money of course).
Or else, it’s just a matter of time before the Frenchman makes a high profile exit from Manchester. In which case, we will have to sign a replacement pretty soon (Sergej Milinkovic-Savic?).
Which of the above two scenarios would you prefer as a Red Devils fan?
