Wilfried Zaha is a player not new to conversations on television studio’s programmes. His transfer from Crystal Palace to Manchester United and then back is well documented and talked about.
This time however, it’s a different conversation for the Ivorian winger. Versatile enough to play across the front-line, he is being linked with Liverpool by Tony Cascarino.
In 31 Premier League appearances, Zaha has 9 goals and 8 assists. However, you are bound to wonder what the winger will be like when he gets the opportunity to play around players of a higher caliber than what Palace have on offer.
This is where Liverpool come in. Cascarino thinks Klopp respects the ability and performances of Zaha as he has seen the manager continously guide his players when playing against the Eagles’ star.
“Liverpool played Palace last year and I went to the game and Jurgen Klopp was consistently on Alexander-Arnold about Wilf Zaha, you could see it from the sideline.
“Literally tracking his movements, Zaha, the whole game. I kept thinking after that game, Klopp really does respect Zaha as a player and he knows how dangerous he is.
“It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him at Liverpool, but he could do a job for any of the top-six.”
