Mohamed Salah was involved in a controversial event in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Porto. The Portuguese club could still hope for a second leg victory at the Estadio Dragao. But there chances of survival are from slim to none.
Alan Brazil, the former footballer turned pundit of United and Scotland spoke on the matter recently. From his Manchester tinted shades, he could clearly see that Liverpool were out there with the intention to kill.
The foremost assassin was Mo Salah. His tackle with studds into a Porto player is bringing out the best of Liverpool haters. Here:
“Salah was very, very fortunate,”
“That’s a red card in today’s game. You know when you go ‘oohh’ – you, know, he was just very assassin-like.
“If you go back through time, Liverpool, at Anfield, have had some incredible decisions. But the crowd do put referees under pressure.”
Maybe the ref could have done better, but it’s clear that Brazil is biased here.
