Rangers cannot complete the signing of Ryan Kent on another loan deal until Klopp returns with his squad from their pre-season tour of USA.
The 22-year-old has scored six goals in 43 appearances for the Rangers during last season.
Ryan Kent was a key part of Ranger’s attack during the last season, and Steven Gerrard is looking forward to managing him for the second season in a row.
However, Kent will be flying to the USA with the Liverpool squad for playing pre-season friendly games against Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting Lisbon which has created a problem for Gerrard and Rangers in completing the loan deal.
It has been claimed that Gerrard has been keeping a watch on Scottish winger during his pre-season training at the Anfield.
Gerrard feels that Kent’s return to the Rangers will help the club to bridge the gap in the points table with Celtic as they finished second in the Scottish Premier League.
The Scotsman is a graduate of Liverpool academy and made his professional debut in 2015.
Kent is a dynamic winger who can play on both flanks. He has represented England at U-18’s and U-21 level.
He made his senior debut for Liverpool in January 2016 and started in an FA Cup third-round fixture at Exeter City.
Kent also scored a brace against the Czech Republic on 27th Aug 2017.
