Real Madrid look to propose Pogba-Bale swap deal

Real Madrid are adamant on signing Paul Pogba this summer and could look to send Gareth Bale the other way to lure Man United into a deal.

The Los Blancos were linked heavily with Pogba last summer amid reports of his conflicts with ex-Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.

The deal could not come to fruition, and the Frenchman looked to have found an extra spring in his step during the earlier days of Solskjaer’s tenure.

However, The Frenchman could still join his fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu after revealing earlier in the campaign that it would be a dream to play for Real Madrid.

Zidane is expected to oversee a significant restructuring at Real after the Los Blancos ended the campaign 19 points shy of arch-rivals Barcelona, their worst showing his 1995.

Madrid have already signed Luka Jovic for Frankfurt, but Zidane is rather keen on reinforcing his ageing midfield.

Pogba remains high on Madrid’s priority list although Real are aware of the fact that his services will come at a premium.

And according to Euro United, Real Madrid are ready to offer Gareth Bale in exchange to bring down the towering asking price.

Bale has struggled for first team football under Zidane’s tutelage and could look to end his 6-year stay at the Bernabeu.

The Welshman did not come off the bench as Real Betis beat Madrid 2-0 at home on the last matchday of the league season.

Bale could be offered an out should United accept the terms.

“Since the return of Zidane, some players are reluctant to leave Real Madrid, who is looking for a way out for Gareth Bale and has even tried to include in a deal with Pogba.

“Welsh does not want to leave the RM for now.” Euro United tweeted.

The 29-year-old will have to make a quick decision on future as Real Madrid are in the market for more attacking talents like Eden Hazard, Sadio Mane and Christian Eriksen painting a bleak future for him at the Bernabeu.
