Real Madrid are more than confident of signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea according to multiple reports in Spain despite the Blues’ reluctance due to their impending transfer ban.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Real Madrid, Eden Hazard and Zinedine Zidane have all given their go’s to the deal with Chelsea being the only stumbling block.
The Blues are set to demand £100million for Hazard’s signature which the Los Blancos are not willing to pay.
Hazard’s age (28) and the tenure of his current contract which expires next summer are touted as the biggest reasons why Real don’t want to shell out a nine-figure sum.
The signing fee is expected to be around £80million-£95 million according to the same report.
