Brewster, who suffered injury some 14 months ago could not make a comeback on schedule, suffering numerous setbacks on his way to recovery.

The 18 year old most notably underwent a knee surgery and also signed the first ever professional contract with Liverpool upon coming of age.

Now, he seems well on the way to being integrated by Klopp in his grand plans. He is back in the senior squad. In order to make an impact there, he first needs to get up to speed and shed months worth of rust. He is doing that through playing in youth/academy teams at the moment.

Yesterday he made an appearance for the U23 squad and scored within the first six minutes. Not that scoring for U23 always translates into first team impact, but it surely better than being injured. Maybe even of things to come.
