Manchester United Star Romelu Lukaku has held talks with Inter Milan officials giving his approval towards a move to the Nerazzurri club in the summer.
If reports in Italy are to be believed, Romelu Lukaku wants to change Clubs in the summer as the Belgian would like to ‘explore different options’ for himself.
Romelu Lukaku’s agent, Federico Pastorello, has already met with the Inter officials and is satisfied with the personal terms that are being offered to his client.
Unlike Manchester United, Inter Milan are back in the Champions League next season. The Nerazzurri side are almost set to appoint Antonio Conte as their new manager.
As we already know, Conte was a big fan of the 25-year-old Striker during his time at Chelsea and he would love nothing more than to bring him to Milan.
The only stumbling block that still persists is Man United’s demand of €70m for the services of the Belgian which Inter Milan are unable to sanction.
However, there’s hope in both the camps that the negotiations would result in a solution that would benefit both the parties.
Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already established that Marcus Rashford is his first choice centre-forward ahead of the Belgian while Ed Woodward and co. are actively trying to hunt for new options for the Striker position.
We have already been linked to the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Moussa Dembele who are doing very well in the Ligue One.
It seems like Romelu Lukaku’s time at Manchester United is finally coming to an end.
Manchester United fans had a lot of expectations from Lukaku, but its fair to say that not all of them got fulfilled. If he indeed leaves in the summer, then good luck to him!
