Roy Keane has been appointed as the member of one of the Martin O’Neill’s backrooms staff at Nottingham Forest.
However, the Irishman was a pundit for the Manchester derby last night where he criticised and called out the Manchester United players for their lack of willingness and sacrifice.
Of course, the question eventually got deflected as to whether he would consider joining Manchester United to right the wrongs that he is talking about.
“As a manager? [Director of Football]. No, I hope and pray Ole does well.
“Like any manager out there if he’s losing football matches you’re going to be under pressure, but he’s got to be given a chance. That means getting a few players in that he wants at the club, because clearly, he wants to get a few out.”
I don’t see half of the Man United players lasting at the Old Trafford with Roy Keane in our backroom staff. Whether that would be a good thing or a bad is up for discussion.
