Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal for 22 year old French central midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. It is reported that 11th hour bids from Juventus or Tottenham are also expected, however Liverpool will be in the front.
Ndombele, whose current contract expires in 2023 is said to have agreed personal terms with Liverpool. All that remains is for the clubs to reach an agreement on the fee. The rumours list £68 million pounds as the player’s valuation by Liverpool.
If the transfer materializes, Liverpool will be acquiring Ndombele who is a creative force in the midfield and will check some boxes Klopp has been hoping to fill. In terms of ability, the youngster has a good pass in him and often gets fouled on the pitch due to the danger he poses in possesion.

Soon to be Champions of Europe
Liverpool have been short on a creative force from midfield, the current options available to being a bit too one-dimensional. The position has remained almost vacant since the departure of Coutinho to Barcelona. Talking of which, Liverpool absolutely bossed Barca for 90 minutes and punched 4 holes in all their arrogance and pride.
Ndombele is also coveted by other major European football houses like Real Madrid, Juventus, Tottenham. United are also somewhere in all this gossip, but not in the Champions League.
Here’s hoping it stays this way! YNWA.
