Ruud Gullit has to backtrack on Mo Salah claims

Liverpool star Mo Salah has been in fine form these past few weeks. However, before netting goals against Southampton and Chelsea the maverick was going through a rough patch.

That is when Ruud Gullit said something he surely regrets now. The game against Chelsea was of equal importance to Blues as their top 4 hopes hinged on a win.

Now that Liverpool are through to the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, Gullit will have to trace a few steps back about Salah. His statements proved to be wrong as Salah has shown in the last games for Liverpool.

Don’t be surprised if the Red’s fans roast him on twitter:

“Salah’s been in horrible form,”

“I watched the game against Southampton – he was the worst on the pitch! Until that moment he scored that goal.

“I think it’s not totally his fault, because he played the World Cup, he had his shoulder injury, he couldn’t rest because always in the Premier League he has to play, 100%.”

“Then last week [against Chelsea] he scored an unbelievable goal. It means he’s got his form back again,”
-Ruud Gullit

Yeah Gullit, we have all been proven wrong at one time or the other.
