While the 29-year-old is not a part of Zidane’s plans, The fans have kept no secret of their desire to see him quit the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Giggs believes that Bale should not let the criticism get under his skin and look to Cristiano Ronaldo and the Brazilian Ronaldo for inspiration on they turned the tides when put under scrutiny by the Madrid fans.
When asked if he was surprised by the Criticism Bale receives at the Bernabeu, He replied: “Yes but I’m not over there. I’m not a Real Madrid fan.”
“I don’t know the ins and outs and I’m only looking from the outside, but you’ve got a player who won the team the Champions League final last year with one of the best goals you’ve ever seen and performs for that team week in, week out.
“I remember the original Ronaldo getting stick of Real Madrid fans. I remember Cristiano (Ronaldo) getting stick early doors.
“It’s that kind of club, it’s a club like no other where the white handkerchiefs come out and if they don’t like you early doors, that’s just the way it is.
“I think Gareth has experienced most situations as a footballer and he knows how to deal with all of them. When you’re at a top club the pressure is natural and comes with the territory.”
Gareth Bale has been linked heavily with a move away from the Spanish capital with Manchester United as one of the most likely destinations.
However, Revealing Man United’s stance on any potential move, Giggs revealed that he isn’t aware of any advances.
When asked whether his ex-teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer enquired him about Bale, he replied: “No he hasn’t.”
