Sadio Mane told the Mirror that Liverpool is one of the best clubs and he has no plans to move away after having another incredible season.
Mane described the Anfield outfit as the “sexist” club around and went on to say: “This is what makes Liverpool so special, because since I came here, it is like, wow.
“The first time the boss called me, I said: ‘Oh!’ Because before, I have one brother in Senegal, he was saying even when I was still at Salzburg, ‘I want to see you at Liverpool.’”
This season Mane has scored 27 goals for the Reds his best so far, better than he did last season.
The Senegalese international’s form this season in the Premier League showed, how important is Mane for the Reds as Liverpool missed out the Premier League title on a point’s difference, but his quality display was recognised with an individual honour.
Mane along with Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shared the award as they each scored 22 goals in the Premier League and showed the world that there is a lot of talent in Africa.
