Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah has won the Liverpool’s Standard Chartered Player for the month of April 2019.
Salah has been in outstanding form for Liverpool scoring in six big games for the club which also includes – club’s Goal of the Month award winner for his performance against Chelsea.
The 26-year-old forward had also played an important role in beating Southampton in the away fixture with his clinical goal.
This season Salah has been voted by fans – for the third time.
“It was a great month for us; there were important games, and we won them [all]. I’m very happy about that,” Salah said.
“Now it’s the last game of the season, and we’re in the final of the Champions League, which is something great. That’s the most important thing.”
“That was one of my favourite goals ever,” he added. “It was a great goal for me and helped the team to win the game, which is something great.”
Salah has become as one of the best forward’s at the Anfield and has scored 27 goals for the club across all the competitions.
Salah has played 11 matches in Champions League this season and scored four goals.
