Chelsea has agreed on Maurizio Sarri to join Juventus after rejecting his offer to remain at the Stamford Bridge, with the move expected to be made official in the coming days.
Sarri had a great season being in charge of the Blues, as they finished third in the Premier League and won the Europa League; however, he failed to win hearts of the fans.
Whereas, Juventus were very much impressed with his work at the Chelsea and made him the top candidate to replace Massimiliano Allegri.
According to The Times, Sarri met with Chelsea officials on Friday to discuss his future and had been willing to see other options, out of the current contract.
Meanwhile, reacting to the news of Sarri being the next boss at the Italian club, Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi has given a positive reaction on the same and said, “A coach always gives you something new for your locker.
“As a player, I can say that Sarri is a good coach: if he is our coach, I don’t know, we must respect the company.”
The 60-year-old is excited about his future projects which will he take when he starts his new stint in Italy.
Juventus will be expecting to get the most from Sarri’s experience in his final year of the contract, which is being valued at around £5million.
