Liverpool will be looking to put more quality in quantity in the attack. Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino may be an elite trio but the options behind them are slim. Liverpool are looking to bolster the right wing.

In this regard, Daily Mail have stated that the player wants a move to a Champions League team, and well Liverpool are the team who feature in back to back finals. This time sure to win it, if no unfortunate injuries provide hurdles.

The report states that Zaha had a face to face meeting with the owner of Crystal Palace. Apparently, Zaha told Steve Parish that he wants to be able to challenge for silverware, and not just any trophy: he wants the Champions League. Obviously Parish can’t afford that and so must agree to a sale in the summer window.

He had already stated in a prior interview that he wants to leave the London club, explaining he needed to win trophies. He currently represents Ivory Coast after having played twice for England.

The price that has been reported by the Mail report is a cool £80 million. The ‘homegrown’ label on his head would fetch extra money for Palace. The question is does Klopp thinks Zaha is worth the money. Besides, a player of Zaha’s capability and traits is certainly going to be in demand this summer. Almost every club in the top six is looking at attacking requirements.
