Manchester United are very close to completing a transfer deal for Swansea City winger Daniel James, according to official Sky Sources.
As per Sky Sports:
Manchester United are close to agreeing a £15m deal to sign Swansea City winger Daniel James, Sky Sports News understands.
The 21-year-old has made 33 Championship appearances for Swansea City this season contributing 5 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.
The Welsh star had a medical done with Leeds United in the January transfer window of this year but Swansea was reportedly unhappy over a £7m plus add-ons offer from Bielsa’s side, hence, the transfer was scuppered.
Daniel James’ contract at Swansea City runs until June of 2020 and a number of Premier League sides were said to be interested in the services of the Welshman before United made their move.
James is capable of operating on the Right Wing, an issue Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer has been wanting to address as a priority in this transfer window.
The deal for Daniel James would mean that Juan Mata could be on his way out of Manchester United.
Do you think it’s a wise decision to spend £15m on Daniel James? Is the Welshman good enough to play for Manchester United?
