Pochettino decided to field lots of fringe players against Huddersfield with the likes of Fernando Llorente, Victor Wanyama, Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters stepping into the playing XI.
All of them played well, however it was Walker-Peters who put up a spectacular show and earned huge praises from the Tottenham fans.
Even though Huddersfield are already relegated, performances like these from him can put Kieran Trippier’s place under serious jeopardy.
All the understudies stepped up today. Best performance yet from Walker-Peters, old school Wanyama, great shows from Llorente and Lucas. What a nice start to the weekend.
