Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that one or two transfers can still happen before the closing of the summer window.

Manchester United have already completed the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James and both of the youngsters have hit the ground running with brilliant performances in the preseason games.

However, Ole is still in search for Victor Lindelof’s partner after Eric Bailly suffered yet another injury setback against Tottenham in the International Champions Cup game today.

While, Harry Maguire is still a possibility, Solskjaer refused to mention the names of the transfer targets, but promised there could be a couple of arrivals still:

“So, we see all the time if we can get better. A lot is written and we have perhaps been linked to 150 players this summer.

“But it can happen, one or two transfers, both in and out, it can still happen.”

While, one can guess that Harry Maguire could be an option, according to the latest reports from the Mirror, the Red Devils are very close to completing the deal for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The 24-year-old Serbian has been one of the most prolific midfielder in the Serie A for the last couple of seasons with clubs like Real Madrid interested in his services.

However, as per the Mirror, Savic’s agent has already landed in the UK and Manchester United could be set to seal the deal for the Serbian in the next few days:

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent has reportedly arrived in London to try and close a deal for his client to join Manchester United .

Former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman – who represents his fellow Serbian – has travelled to the UK to fine tune the details of a potential deal.

The price quoted for this transfer is a cool £71m which is actually quite decent in today’s market given the skills and abilities of the Lazio man.
