Manchester United fans have been demanding the inclusion of young academy stars into the starting lineup after the recent poor performances by the first team squad.
One such player who has caught the eyes of many fans is Mason Greenwood who is having a phenomenal season so far this campaign.
The 17-year-old hit his 30th goal of the season as United Under 23s 3-2 loss at home to Wolves as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Mike Phelan was in attendance.
It’s been reported that Solskjaer rates the Star very highly and he even said before the 4-0 defeat at Everton:
“Mason Greenwood, 17 years of age, yeah, you are for me.
“We want to give you a chance to become a top player at this club.”
The reports have hinted over the possibility of having Mason Greenwood on the bench for the Chelsea clash. Hopefully, he can get some playing time. The kid is clearly too good for Under 23’s now.
