Speaking at an ADIDAS event in Tokyo this week, he said:
“There is a lot of thinking [going on]. I have been three years in Manchester and have been doing great – some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody, like everywhere else.
After this season and everything that happened, with my season being my best season. It could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”
The world cup winner was already a subject of interest for Real Madrid and Juventus and his recent comments have added more fuel to the fire.
However, his services won’t come cheap.
According to Reports, Manchester United will look to seek around £150m for the Frenchman who they have tied to a contract until 2021.
but Tony Cascarino believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should ask for Isco and Luka Modric in return instead of simply cashing in on Pogba.
“If Real Madrid come in for Pogba then United should be asking about Isco and Luka Modric.” the ex-Chelsea star wrote in his column for The Times.
“Isco is a brilliant player who might struggle to get in the Real team with all their new signings.
“And the same could be said for Modric who, while 34 in September, would be brilliant for United for two seasons.”
The Red Devils have also been linked with Belgian international Youri Tielemans who impressed heavily during his loan Spell at Leicester City.
The club has already made a £36m bid for the 22-year-old who many tout as the perfect for Paul Pogba should his impending move to Real Madrid go through.
