Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted after a report in the Daily Mail suggested that the Spurs will let of Fernando Llorente in the summer.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have defied all odds to qualify for the Champions League finals and finish fourth in the Premier League table.

To make matters worse for Tottenham, Some of their Key stars have suffered injuries at crucial ventures of the campaign.

The only respite for Pochettino has been the quality of performance shown by his reserve players who have stepped up despite having not seen a lot of game time in recent weeks and playing out of their natural positions at times.

None have done it better than Fernando Llorente.

Spurs fans were desperate to get rid of the Spaniard in the summer but his performances this season in Harry Kane’s absence has certainly endeared him to the Spurs fans.

He popped up with some very crucial goals for the Spurs during their Champions League run against the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City, also putting his body on the line against Ajax to bring other attackers into play.

However, Despite all the good performances, he’s put this season, Tottenham will let go of Llorente after the Daily Mail revealed that the Spurs have missed the chance to extend the forward’s deal.

He runs out of a contract in the summer and the likes of AC Milan, Valencia, Marseille and AS Roma are interested in securing his services.

Naturally, some Spurs fans were desolate after hearing the news as they have taken to Twitter to thank Llorente for his efforts this season.

Thank you Fernando, your contribution shall never be forgotten.
