Spurs fans have reacted to the club’s potential move for Germany international Julian Brandt in the upcoming summer transfer window according to SportsBild.
The 23-year-old has also garnered attention from Spurs’ UEFA Champions League rivals Liverpool with Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
The Bayer Leverkusen man has scored nine goals and set up further 17 for his teammates in 42 appearances for the club this season, averaging a goal or assist every 125 minutes.
The German international could be available for as low as £21.5million due to a release clause in his current contract which runs out in two years time.
In the current market scenario, it looks like peanut change for a player who is yet to reach his prime and the Spurs fans look sold to the idea.
His arrival could also ease the pain of Spurs fans favourite Christian Eriksen’s potential departure from the club as Real Madrid have a keen interest in the Dane who the Spurs may be forced into selling this summer or risk losing him for nothing next year as he enters the last 12 months of his current contract with the club.
Brandt could certainly be an able replacement should the 27-year-old opt to quit White Hart Lane in the summer.
Here’s what the Spurs fans had to say:
Fits the Mauricio Pochettino profile
He has just a 25m release clause… More like a Tottenham signing

Couldn’t agree more
This would be a coup. Solid young player. Can play anywhere along the attacking Midfield line
