Tottenham have launched an evasive transfer mission to secure the services of Portuguese sensation Joao Felix from Benfica according to Football Insider.

The North London club had scouts present when the 19-year-old ran riot last night bagging a hattrick and setting up another in Benfica’s 4-2 victory over Frankfurt in the Europa League.

The same report states that Tottenham have been keeping a keen eye on the youngster despite Benfica tying him down to contract with a release clause of £106m last summer.

Felix has scored 15 goals this season and set up further 7 and such impressive numbers have garnered interest from top European sides like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona though Spurs are the only side at the moment to make a move.
