The Liverpool squad that will be facing Atletico Madrid in the Champions League knockout stages has been confirmed, however, there is just one notable change.

The new January transfer signing Takumi Minamino, who joined Liverpool from Red Bull Salzburg for a transfer fee of £7.25million, will be part of the 25-man ‘A’ list of players available to Jurgen Klopp from now on.

Minamino played against Liverpool for Salzburg, but UEFA rules state a player who appeared during the group stage is eligible to feature for another club during the latter part of the tournament.

Squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Adrian, Andy Lonergan, Caoimhin Kelleher*

Defenders: Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson, Joel Matip, Adam Lewis*, Trent Alexander-Arnold*, Neco Williams*, Yasser Larouci*
