Tottenham’s club record signing Tanguy Ndombele has outlined his ambitions for the upcoming season saying that he wants to win the UCL.
The French midfielder was Mauricio Pochettino’s highest priority in the transfer market this summer and it will go a long way in appeasing the Argentine who has wanted reinforcements to his side for a long time now.

Ndombele has signed a 6-year-contract with the Champions League runners up.
And in his very first interview with the club he has revealed his desire to go step further in the competition this time around.
“It was very simple for me. Spurs are in the top four teams in England right now. For me it’s been a dream of mine since I was a kid to play in the Premier League.” he told the club’s official website.
“Now I can make that dream come true right here. I can’t wait and I’m excited at being able to play in the Premier League.
“I’m hoping I can achieve great things with the team.”
He also went to emphasise the role his compatriots Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko played in swaying him for a move to North London.
“Hugo and Moussa spoke with me and told me how good this team is,” he added. “Of course I’ve also seen a few Spurs games on TV.
“They told me that it’s a great group of players and that everyone gets on well and if I came here I would settle in easily. That’s always good to hear when people you know say stuff like that, it gives you desire to go somewhere.
“They told me that the supporters here are amazing and that there is a lot of passion and atmosphere in the stadium, that the fans never give up getting behind the side and that this season they were happy with the team as they go to the Champions League final and finished in a good position in the Premier League.
“They told me to come here as it could be a good thing for me, so here I am today and I’m really pleased about it.
“The stadium is just amazing. I’ve said it before, I’m not just saying it because I’ve just signed for Tottenham, it’s the most beautiful stadium I’ve ever seen or played in.
“I really can’t wait to be able to play in the stadium and feel the atmosphere inside there.”
