Everton playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson has revealed that he and his teammates are desperate to keep Kurt Zouma at Goodison beyond this season.
The French defender made the season-long loan switch to Everton last summer and his consistent performances have propelled the Toffee’s to the seventh spot.
Speaking in awe of the Centre back to Liverpool Echo, Sigurdsson said:
“Of course, we want to keep every good player that we’ve got.
He’s been fantastic for us since he came in, so hopefully, he’ll want to stay.
I’m sure the club will put a bit of pressure on him to stay, and I’m sure the boys will as well!”
Zouma has made 33 appearances for Marko Silva’s side and scored two goals so far.
