Jose Mourinho is no stranger to Liverpool fans. He has a history with us, afterall. Thankfully, that history is not that of club and manager. But that of rivals.
He may now have left England thrice post a sack but he is yet to accept that Liverpool can be a position of strength compared to both English clubs he has been in.
Liverpool are fighting for the title and the Champions League, even in April. By that time, most title attempts used to slip away.
Now we have achieved harmony after years of rebuilding, and Jose clearly doesn’t see the whole picture when he says that:
“Liverpool have absolutely fantastic individual quality, but they are disputing the league title which means that they will not rest players in the previous game or between the two games.”
“The tie is open and what happened last year, I believe, can play for Porto in both games.
