The 24-year-old was expected to stay in Italy after a fine season at AC Milan.
The Chelsea loanee initially struggled to perform at San Siro but eventually became a key figure at Milan.
However, with the club failing to secure a Champions League spot next season Bakayoko could make his return to Chelsea.
Also, following a fallout with the club manager Gennaro Gattuso, there doesn’t seem to be any possibility of the deal being revived.
His brother, Abdoulaye Bakayoko, who also acts as his agent, said they will give priority to Chelsea to provide stability to Bakayoko’s career.
However, Sevilla’s sporting director Monchi, is looking for a kind of player like Bakayoko for the squad which means his future still remains uncertain.
His brother Abdoulaye recently sat down for a chat with L’Equipe, and when asked about interest from other clubs, he answered for him:
“We receive phone calls every day. It’s due to his good season this year in Milan. But we must think about the best project.
“And for now, the best project is Chelsea. He knows, we are at home.
“You just have to start the season as well as you can and see what it’s like. But that does not stop us from listening to the proposals.”
The natural next question for the Chelsea player was whether he’d like to play for PSG, and he certainly wasn’t ready to hide his feelings:
“Yes, for sure, one day I would like to play in Paris, I cannot lie about it. It’s big for me and my loved ones. We are real Parisians.”
The situation should become more clear once the managerial situation at Chelsea is sorted.
