Tottenham Hotspurs star Toby Alderweireld is available for just £25m according to the latest reports while Manchester United are yet to make a decision on him.
Due to a clause in his contract, the Belgian Defender is available for a bargain price of £25m, but Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still undecided on his future.
It was widely claimed at the start of the last season that the Spurs Defender would complete a switch to the Old Trafford, thanks to a massive interest in his services from then manager Jose Mourinho.
However, with Daniel Levy playing hard-ball, like he always does, Ed Woodward called off the transfer with the knowledge that the 30-year-old would only be available for £25m next season.
Toby Alderweireld, meanwhile, is still expecting a bid from the Manchester Club this summer, but with Jose Mourinho gone, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is undecided whether to pursue the transfer of a 30-year-old player.
Toby Alderweireld, meanwhile, is a Premier League proven centre back who has been one of the best in his position for the past few years.
Granted, the 30-year-old doesn’t have age on his side, but he still has the quality and the experience to help this Manchester United team re-build under the Norwegian.
£25m is incredibly cheap price for a player of the quality of Alderweireld and Manchester United would do good to sign him over an astronomically expensive Koulibaly.
Do you think Toby Alderweireld is a good choice for us alongside Victor Lindelof at the back?
Or would you still like us to spend an upward of 100 Million Pounds on someone else?
