Tottenham Hotspur have made Lyon’s Tanguy NDombele their number 1 transfer target. The two clubs have been involved in transfer negotiations for some time now, amidst reports of a bid from the club. However, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has indicated that Tottenham have so far failed to match their demands. Amidst all this, a new competitor for NDombele’s signature has emerged in the form of Paris Saint Germain.

Tottenham’s NDombele bid not matching Lyon’s Demands
NDombele has emerged as a formidable box to box midfielder and Tottenham want him to provide the steel missing from the midfield. He may even shift Eric Dier to defense or sell him if the deal goes through for Tanguy NDombele. Spurs’ last bid for the midfielder has been reported to be £40 million but Lyon value the midfielder at somewhere between 60-70 million pounds.
Lyon president has much the same reputation of being a tough negotiator like Daniel Levy himself so it is not hard to imagine them being at loggerheads.
PSG want NDombele too
Paris Saint Germain have entered the mix at the last hour even as Tottenham are confident of sealing the transfer in the wake of being talked up by the French midfielder recently. NDombele has a creative aspect to his game as well, assisting 7 Ligue 1 goals for Lyon.
PSG feel they can use him to provide the mettle in midfield that has been lacking in European matches for the Parisiens. Tottenham need to move fast because PSG will certainly not skimp out on paying the required transfer fee.
