Tottenham Hotspur Season 2019/20: All the Premier League fixtures

Tottenham host newly promoted Aston Villa at the Tottenham Stadium on August 10. The Premier League today announced the schedule for all 380 games of the Premier League 2019/20 season. The Tottenham fixture to kick-off the season are somewhat kind when compared to the likes of Manchester United, who play Chelsea. The full list of matchday 1 fixtures is here.

Last season’s Champions League finalists will play the Villans at home. However, the following weeks will not be so easy as the second matchday takes Tottenham to the Etihad. It will be followed by Newcastle United back at home, which leads to the first London Derby of the season for Spurs against Arsenal. Arsenal don’t play any Champions League games next season. Not even qualifiers.

Premier League 2019/20 Spurs fixtures: The London Derbies

As is usually the case, there are more London derbies in the Premier League than any other English city. It’s because of the high density of Premier League clubs in the capital, even as the likes of QPR are in exile. Tottenham’s first London derby is at the Emirates on 31 August.

Here are the other Derbies that Tottenham will play during the 2019/20 Premier League season:
September kicks of with a London Derby between Tottenham and Crystal Palace at the Spurs’ new stadium. The fixture will be played on 14 September.

The match against Crystal Palace is the last London Derby for Spurs in the Premier League until December. Chelsea visit the Tottenham stadium for the match against Spurs on December 21, 2019.

Soon enough, Tottenham’s fixture list takes them to Stamford Bridge for the reverse fixture. The game will be played on February 22, 2019.

April is the time around which Arsenal are in the most self-harm mode. Rightly so, they’ll play Spurs at the new stadium on April 25.

The last month of the Spurs’ fixtures brings back the reverse of the Crystal Palace fixture. Spurs will visit Selhurst Park on 17 May to round of Spurs’ 2019/20 season.
